Finance at HTG – Former Snuneymuxw finance manager Marg White has moved down the highway to the Hul’qumi’num Treaty Group to take up a similar role. She had worked at SFN for 20 years.
HTG represents six First Nations – including NmTC members Chemainus and Halalt – in the BC treaty process.

Up the coast – Dave Mannix has been named CEO of Coast Opportunty Funds, an organization who goal is to balance environmental concerns with economic development in First Nation communities along the Central and North Coasts of B.C. and Haida Gwaii.
COF was established in 2007 to oversee and manage $120 million in public and private funding that supports both conservation management and sustainable economic development.
Mannix was formerly the economic development officer at Snuneymuxw.
